But somewhere between the dream and the actual plan you got hung up. Stalled out. Stuck. Overwhelmed.
A pathway and a community
Lost and alone is a bad place to be! You need a pathway to follow and a community to travel with. Leap Year is for hungry leaders who are ready to add structure and a strategy to their blazing vision.

What are the components of Leap Year?
Group collaboration yielding wisdom
A monthly two hour cohort (called a learning circle) with other change makers to get instruction and feedback. Goal creation instruction, accountability, opportunities to share with the Right Side up Collective, Help with your messaging and your marketing plan. Podcast interview on Right Side up Leadership Podcast. Opportunities to collaborate with other change makers on your dream. Membership in Right Side up Collective, a private online community.
Leadership coaching yielding clarity
90 minutes of individual leadership coaching each month and ongoing access to your coaches. Coaching tools to help you grow in self-leadership, team leadership, planning and marketing. You have the option to seize an individual coaching visit to Colorado.
Three refreshing getaways yielding inspiration
Three gatherings in the mountains of Colorado for four days (these are mandatory for Leap Year participants). These experiences include fun, time in Creation, group discussions and stretching experiences.
Who’s it for?
Followers of Jesus with a dream they are compelled by and a hunger to translate that dream into a reality amidst a community.

Participants must…
- Possess the hunger and capacity to focus and sacrifice
- Believe THIS is a strategic time to stretch for your cause
- Be available to gather twice in person (January 2024 and December 2024)
- Commit to being fully present at a Crew Connect for 90 minutes each month
- Engage in the community with curiosity, care and authenticity

What is the commitment?
Time
Attendance at three four day experiences (and an optional two day coaching experience), 90 minutes of one-on-one coaching monthly, two hours of online learning circles monthly and a commitment to sharing what you’re learning with the community
Energy
Making space to bring your best to others, learn outside of group times and take scary next steps toward your dream when no one is watching.
Finances
Raise or pay $800 a month for 11 months ($9,000 total, $200 fee to secure your spot) plus flights to two experiences. You can self-fund Leap Year, find supporters or a patron, have your organization pay for this or apply for scholarship help.
Your coaches and curators
Alan Briggs has been a coach for a dozen years, a pastor for thirteen, and has spent his whole life going on adventures with others. Alan founded Stay Forth Designs to help people become who God designed them to be and reach sustainable impact. He and the team at Stay Forth invest in leaders through coaching them toward clarity, taking their next right steps and gaining momentum. He curates “taste and see” experiences people will never forget and connects people to enable kingdom explosions to occur. Leap Year was birthed from Alan’s desire to concentrate what God has entrusted to him into two handfuls of hungry leaders.
Karin Harper is passionate about helping people live the life they were designed to live. She loves helping others see the Masterpiece God’s created them to be and discover their unique identity and mission. She’s captivated by the adventure of life and inspires others to live in a way that is both life-giving and impactful. She is a lover of God, people, cultures, missions, and the church. She was in real estate for several years and savored the opportunity to love and serve clients and co-workers. She worked for 7 years at Gateway Church in Austin, TX as a Grow Pastor and currently works at Woodmen Valley Chapel as the Director of Community Groups and Spiritual Growth. She loves developing leaders, connecting people and beckoning others deeper into the greatest adventure and romance ever with Jesus.
When is Leap Year?
January 2024-December 2024. Applications for Leap Year are due by November 1st. Applicants will be contacted by June 16th.
